Newman Catholic Campus Ministry and United Protestant Campus Ministries will host their annual Ash Wednesday Service Feb. 14 at Amasa Stone Chapel, beginning at 5 p.m.
Ash Wednesday begins the Christian season of Lent, a time for prayer, reflection, penance and reconciliation in preparation for Easter.
Newman Catholic Campus Ministry Minister Steve Perry will deliver the homily and anyone who wants may receive ashes. There is a light supper afterwards.
This event is free and open to all.
