Attend a two-part block printing workshop

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join teaching artist Anna Tarrarova at Sears think[box] for a two-part workshop where attendees will learn how to make their own linoleum (or “lino”) prints.

During the first session, instructors of Zygote Press—a nonprofit printmaking studio and gallery in Cleveland—will demonstrate the carving process and help you get started on your own design. In session two, you’ll finish carving and roll up your sleeves to hand print your masterpiece using a tabletop press. Participants will leave with a completed lino-block and several prints.

No experience is necessary for this workshop, which includes a registration fee of $50 and is capped at 15 participants. You will receive an invoice from think[box] for the registration fee via email shortly after registering.
