The Case Western Reserve University Graduate Society of Medical Humanities (GSMH) will hold the first installment of the 2017-18 GSMH Student Lecture Series Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Sears Library Building’s bioethics conference room (TA200). Megan Schmidt-Sane, a PhD student in anthropology, will present “Bar Groups and Mediational Community Process: Vulnerability and Social Resilience at the Margins in Uganda.” In this talk, Schmidt-Sane will discusses her ethnographic research on male partners of female sex workers in Kampala, Uganda.
