Analysis of untested rape kits reveals serial rapists are 'far more common' than we thought Jezebel: The testing of backlogged rape tests in Cuyahoga County has revealed new insights into sex offenders’ behaviors. Collaborating with the Cuyahoga County Sexual Assault Kit Task Force, Daniel Flannery, the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor and director of Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, and Rachel Lovell, a senior research associate at the center, have led the research into the kits.
