Biology professor Arnold Caplan discusses experimental study on regrowing muscles

Experimental technique coaxes muscles destroyed by war to regrow NPR: A research team at University of Pittsburgh is working on an experimental technique to help people regrow muscle tissue. Arnold Caplan, professor of biology, said the study means, "there's a good chance that instead of all this muscle being destroyed ... not only can you save some of the muscle using this technique but you can actually get real regeneration."
