“Virtual Biopsies” may soon make some invasive tests unnecessary
Leapsmag: Anant Madabhushi, professor of biomedical engineering and director of the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, talked about the hope for virtual biopsies for certain cancers one day. He discussed Artificial Intelligence-guided diagnostics, which he said have already improved the ability of radiologists to interpret breast, lung, and prostate lesions.
