Blue CWRU Sale celebrates Spartie’s birthday
Spartie’s birthday is this week, and we’re celebrating with a new Blue CWRU merchandise drop.
The Spirit Committee, in collaboration with University Marketing and Communications and athletics, is selling two new pieces of CWRU gear Sept. 18 from noon to 2 p.m. outside Adelbert Hall on Case Quad.
This sale features a new Spartie T-shirt and embroidered quarter-zip, both in CWRU blue and available while supplies last.
Quantities and sizes are limited, so merchandise will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Celebrate Spartie’s birthday
The celebration continues Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the field behind Wyant Gym with Spartie’s Birthday Party.
The event will feature giveaways, activities, cupcakes and ice cream, along with an athletics gear fire sale featuring discounted CWRU apparel.
Stay for the home opener
Spartie’s Birthday Party leads into the first home football game of the season at noon, when the Spartans take on Shenandoah University at DiSanto Field.
Pick up some new CWRU blue this week, celebrate Spartie on Friday and stick around to cheer on the Spartans.
