Blue CWRU Sale today—celebrate the Class of 2026
Commencement week is here, and the campus community is invited to help send off the Class of 2026 in a sea of CWRU blue.
Join fellow faculty, staff, students and alumni on Wednesday, May 13, for clap out, university convocation and the Spartan Send-off—three traditions that bring the entire university together to celebrate our graduates.
The tradition
The annual university-wide clap out invites the campus community to line the main pathway through Case Quad and applaud graduates as they process from the Binary Walkway to the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center for university convocation. Immediately following convocation, the celebration continues at the Spartan Send-off on Van Horn Field with food, music and festivities honoring the graduating class.
The merchandise
This year’s limited-edition commencement t-shirt features a design inspired by the university alma mater lyric, “Shine on forever, Case Western Reserve.” Whether you’re attending Clap Out, Convocation or the Spartan Send-off, help us turn the quad blue and celebrate the Class of 2026 together.
