The tradition
First held in 1910, the Hudson Relays commemorate the university’s move from Hudson, Ohio, to Cleveland. Today, it’s a 26-mile relay race that puts each class’s top runners to the test. The stakes are real: if a class wins all four years, they earn a steak and champagne dinner with the president and provost. Only three classes have ever done it. Learn more about the Hudson Relays.
