Call for submissions for Women's History Month

From first-year students finding their footing to faculty leading major research initiatives, mentorship shapes the CWRU experience in ways both visible and quiet—and its impact stretches across generations.

For Women’s History Month, The Daily is collecting stories for an upcoming feature highlighting mentorship chains at Case Western Reserve University: women who have mentored, guided and opened doors for others—and the students and colleagues carrying that influence forward.
Has a professor changed your trajectory? Are you mentoring a student who reminds you of yourself years ago? Is there a woman at CWRU whose investment in others has created a ripple effect?

Email case-daily@case.edu by Feb. 27 with a short description (2–3 sentences) of the mentorship connection and why it matters. If possible, include the names and roles of those involved and a photo of you together.

Due to the volume of submissions, we can’t guarantee every story will be featured—but each submission helps us recognize the networks of leadership and support shaping our community.
