Case Western Reserve University to mark 200th birthday with campus-wide celebration Feb. 7
Case Western Reserve University will mark a historic milestone on Saturday, Feb. 7, from noon to 3 p.m., as the university celebrates its 200th birthday—on the exact anniversary of the signing of the charter establishing Western Reserve College.
This signature bicentennial event will bring together students, alumni, families, faculty, staff and friends for a day filled with festivities for all ages for a campus-wide birthday party at Tinkham Veale University Center.
Party attendees can explore interactive stations highlighting CWRU’s history and future, enjoy live performances by student groups—including Case in Point, Cheza Nzuri, Klover, Undivided, Pep Band and Lady Rowdy—and catch a set from West Coast pop band Swami 3. The event will also feature bicentennial trivia, special giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate all that makes CWRU unique.
Join us for this once-in-200-years celebration and be part of university history in the making! Registration for the birthday party is encouraged.
