Case Western Reserve University, Ohio Wesleyan University expand pathway to Weatherhead graduate business degrees

Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management is expanding its partnership with Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU), creating new early-admission opportunities for OWU students pursuing advanced business degrees.

The updated agreement now includes Weatherhead’s Master of Accountancy, in addition to three existing master’s programs: business analytics and intelligence; finance; and supply chain management. The partnership also reduces prerequisite coursework requirements for qualified OWU students seeking admission to Weatherhead.

“Employers are looking for graduates who can analyze complex problems, communicate clearly and make smart decisions quickly,” said Weatherhead Dean Andrew Medvedev. “This partnership gives Ohio Wesleyan students a direct path into our graduate business programs, preparing them for the kind of work companies actually need—whether that’s accounting, analytics, finance or supply chain strategy.”

The agreement allows OWU students to apply to select Weatherhead master’s programs with no application fee during their junior year for early admission. Admitted students receive guaranteed scholarship support, with the potential for additional merit-based aid, Medvedev said.

“Weatherhead students benefit from hands-on learning opportunities tied to real business challenges,” Medvedev said, “including projects developed with corporate and nonprofit partners.”

Ohio Wesleyan Provost Karlyn Crowley said the agreement reflects OWU’s focus on expanding access to graduate education and strengthening career outcomes.

“The powerful combination of OWU and CWRU degrees will help our students become leaders in their fields,” Crowley said.
