The campus community is invited to celebrate the appointment of Yasuhiro Shirai, professor and chair in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, as the Eirik Borve Professor of Modern Languages, on Tuesday, May 5, at 4 p.m. at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center.
The event will also feature a special recognition of Case Western Reserve University Trustee Thalia Dorwick (FSM ’66, GRS ’73, Romance languages).
