Celebrate innovation at CWRU’s Engineers Week: Feb. 20–28
The Case School of Engineering invites the campus community to join in celebrating Engineers Week (E-Week) from Feb. 20–28, 2026, a week dedicated to recognizing engineering’s impact and inspiring future innovators. The national event, themed “Transform Your Future,” unites students, faculty, alumni and industry partners through hands-on challenges, competitions and community-building activities.
The week’s lineup includes a variety of engaging events open to all students:
- STEM Search Scavenger Hunt: Kick off the week with a campus-wide hunt on Feb. 20 that highlights engineering exploration.
- (G)HDC + NSBE Build-a-Boat Challenge: Teams compete by constructing creative boats from basic materials on Feb. 21.
- WISER Lightbulb Drop: On Feb. 23, students design protective structures to keep lightbulbs intact from a high drop.
- Precious Plastic Water Bottle Car Racing: On Feb. 24, participants design and race cars made from recycled bottles.
- CEC Jolly Scholar Trivia Night: Also Feb. 24, join STEM trivia fun and friendly competition.
- Lego Bridge Building Competition: Test engineering and design skills on Feb. 26 in Thwing Ballroom.
- SWE Alumni Luncheon: Wrap up with a Society of Women Engineers event featuring speakers and networking on Feb. 28.
A highlight of E-Week is the Dean’s Networking Reception on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 4-6 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Ballroom. Interim Dean Christian Zorman will host this gathering for students, alumni, faculty and industry partners to connect, celebrate and explore professional pathways. Registration is required.
