As part of the Center for International Affairs’ Global Talk Series, the center will present a “Say My Name" workshop and also discuss "Supporting International Students in the Classroom."
This workshop is designed to provide faculty with tips on international student name pronunciation (bring a class roster) and tools to work with a diverse population of students, allowing domestic and international students to have a meaningful educational experience.
The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m., in Nord Hall, Room 356, and is open to all faculty and staff. Lunch will be provided.
RSVP by email no later than Jan. 6.
