The Cleveland Council on World Affairs will host a Foreign Policy Forum at Case Western Reserve University Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 5:30 p.m. at the Linsalata Alumni Center.
Thomas Hout, visiting professor of international studies at Middlebury Institute, best-selling author and career consultant, will lead a discussion of the economic relationship between the United States and China, titled “U.S.–China Relations: The Slow Economic War.”
About the event
Following a number of negotiations and tariff changes between the United States and China, Hout will analyze the root and depth of issues behind U.S. trade policy toward China. As numerous political and economic objectives between the U.S. and China continue to pressure current leaders, is there an easy solution to the contrasting viewpoints in the two countries’ relationship?
