This week, the Cleveland Orchestra will host Student Appreciation Week performances. All students enrolled (for free) in the orchestra’s Student Advantage Program are offered $5 tickets to the performances, and all student ambassadors and frequent fan cardholders will be invited to an exclusive post-concert party on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Each of the three Student Appreciation Week shows will feature Marek Janowski as conductor, Matthew Polenzani as tenor and Richard King as horn. The featured works will be the "Fauré Suite" from Pelléas and Mélisande, the "Britten Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings" and the "Franck Symphony in D Minor." The show times are:
- Thursday, Oct. 10, 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 12, 8 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 13, 3 p.m. (under age 18 can attend for free with the purchase of one full-price adult ticket)
