The Marian K. Shaughnessy Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Fellowship Program celebrated the graduation of Cohort 5 on Jan. 16, in Palm Springs, CA, honoring the accomplishments of an outstanding group of senior nurse leaders who completed this rigorous and transformative program.
Created by the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy, the Fellowship program is designed to empower executive nurse leaders to promote more patient-centered, cost-effective, accessible and quality-driven healthcare. Launched in March 2021, the Fellowship includes four sessions over 13 months. The curriculum includes sections on executive presence, financial acumen, care coordination, quality and safety competencies, wellness, public communication, and understanding and leading change.
In addition to the graduation, the program event also welcomed Cohort 6 as they began their fellowship journey, embarking on a year of executive-level learning and collaboration. In addition to the Shaughnessy Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Fellowship Program, the Marian K Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy convened its Global Advisory Board for its annual meeting.
