Construction to cause lane closures on part of Carnegie Avenue

Beginning today (Sept. 19), a Dominion Energy Project will cause lane closures on Carnegie Avenue. Just east of Stearns Road, Carnegie Avenue will be down to one lane in each direction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with two exceptions:
  • From 7 to 9 a.m., there will be two westbound lanes open;
  • From 3 to 5 p.m., there will be two eastbound lanes open.
All lanes will be reopened between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. Additionally, Stearns Road will be reduced to one lane southbound through the middle of October. To see the map of the affected areas and get more traffic updates, visit universitycircle.org/work/transportation-alerts.
