CWRU Spartan Cheer hosts “Lil Spartans” fundraiser
STORY BY: EDITORIAL STAFF
Case Western Reserve University’s Spartan Cheer will host a “Lil Spartans” fundraiser, featuring a mini camp for children in kindergarten through eighth grade on Saturday, Nov. 8.
During the day camp, members of the team will teach participants basic cheerleading motions, jumps, dances and stunts—in addition to a choreographed halftime routine that will be performed at a CWRU football game.
The day camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Adelbert Gym, followed by the football game at 1 p.m. when campers will cheer during the first half of the game and perform their routine.
Registration costs—which cover a pizza lunch and camp shirt—$60 for the first child and $50 for any additional siblings. To guarantee a shirt, participants must register by Oct. 31.
No experience is required to participate.
Upon registration, extra details regarding pickup, drop-off and parking locations and itinerary details will be provided.
Register your child. Contact fundraising chair Claire Hennessey at cmh272@case.edu with questions.
