Study says redeveloped Woodlawn generated over $410M in resources

Chicago Crusader: Amy Khare, research assistant professor and research director at the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities, discussed her new study documenting more than a decade of investment in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood by Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), which has attracted more than $400 million in federal, state and city funding, along with additional resources from various private and nonprofit partners.
