Dan Flannery says teens have easy access to guns after incident at un-permitted block party
WEWS: Daniel Flannery, the Dr. Semi J. and Ruth Begun Professor and director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, said youth gun violence is the result of easy firearm access and peer pressure. He also highlighted reduced summer programming, mentioning that funding cuts leave teens idle and vulnerable during high-risk months.
