The Case Western Reserve University Dance Marathon group will present the third annual Dancing with the CWRU Stars competition Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in Veale Center’s Horsburgh Gymnasium. Faculty, staff and area dance instructors will bring their best dance moves to the floor to raise funds for pediatric cancer patients at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
Tickets, available at the door and online at tickets.case.edu, are $10 for central seating and $5 side seating; children under age 5 are admitted at no charge. Visitor parking is available in the Veale Center Garage, immediately adjacent to the event.
Dancing with the CWRU Stars will include professional dancers and instructors who have been paired with faculty and staff members from all areas of campus. The program also will include performances by local dance instructors and dancers.
Dance Marathon at Case Western Reserve University, a student service group dedicated to raising funds to benefit pediatric cancer patients at Rainbow Babies Hospital, has raised more than $14,000 for this cause in the last three years.
