The Case Western Reserve University Department of Music and the Church of the Covenant will host a special program to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the World War I Armistice and the 50th anniversary of the McGaffin Carillon.
The evening will feature music and texts to console those suffering from strife and division, comfort those who have lost loved ones and offer hope for peace.
This performance, titled Consolation, will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. at the Church of the Covenant.
Tickets will cost $10 for general admission and $5 for adults 60+ and CWRU faculty and staff. The performance is free for students with their ID.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or on the Department of Music’s website.
Free parking will be available.
