How to save yourself from sun poisoning, according to doctors who treat it

GQ MagazineRosanne Paul, assistant professor of dermatology at the School of Medicine, explained how “sun poisoning” isn’t a medical term, but relates to what is considered to be a severe sunburn that results in flu-like symptoms. “The UV rays are not ‘poisoning’ you, but sun poisoning means that the skin did get damaged, causing dehydration,” she said.
