The Diversity Think Forum will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom as part of homecoming festivities.
The forum will be a roundtable discussion, featuring the topic “A Celebration of African-American Philanthropy.”
The roundtable will be composed of the following participants, many of whom are alumni:
- Linda Sharpe-Taylor (WRC ’78), psychologist at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and president of the CWRU African-American Alumni Association;
- Margot James Copeland, executive vice president of corporate philanthropy and chair and CEO of the KeyBank Foundation;
- Robert P. Madison (ARC ’48), president of Robert P. Madison International and Trustee Emeritus of Case Western Reserve University;
- Kurt Karakul (LAW ’79), president and executive director of the Third Federal Foundation;
- Dominic Ozanne, president and CEO of Ozanne Construction Company, Inc. and trustee of Case Western Reserve University; and
- Cary Dell, manager of communications for Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions.
