On Oct. 6, the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals held an oral argument in the Moot Courtroom at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
In a packed room, CWRU School of Law alumnae Judge Lisa B. Forbes and Judge Emanuella D. Groves, along with Judge Michelle J. Sheehan, heard arguments in the case of State of Ohio v. Tyra Byrd. Read the appellants brief, appellant's reply brief and appellees brief.
Following the hearing, the attorney held a Q&A session for the gathered law students, CWRU faculty and staff. After the conclusion of the hearing, the judges also answered questions from the audience.
