Eldred Theater will kick off its series tonight with its production of Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon.
A young newlywed couple is starting their life in New York City—he a young lawyer trying his first important case, she a very happy newlywed from a well-off family—but nothing goes as planned in this farce by one of America’s greatest comedic playwrights.
Directed by Ron Wilson, the Katharine Bakeless Nason Professor of Theater and Drama, Barefoot in the Park will run Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 2 and 9 at 3 p.m. at Eldred Theater (located on the Case Quad behind the Millis Science Center).
