Eleanor Squire Library to hold print and book sale Dec. 9-11

Eleanor Squire Library at the Cleveland Botanical Garden will host a print and book sale Dec. 9-11. The special three-day sale will feature botanical and art prints, gifts, rarities and collectibles. The sale will include such items as:
  • 1788 original folio hand-colored herb lithographs;
  • 1880’s orchid lithographs;
  • Early 20th century art prints (landscapes, horses, Chinese art, etc.);
  • Framed photographs and paintings;
  • Collectible Asian art;
  • Rare seed catalogs;
  • Mary Vaux Walcott original 1925 wildflower prints;
  • Prints from rare book collection of Eleanor Squire Library; and
  • Many new garden and coffee-table titles, great for gifts.
The sale will be open during the following times:
  • Friday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;
  • Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and
  • Sunday, Dec. 11, from noon to 5 p.m.
Admission to the sale is free with garden admission to the glow show. For more information, call 216.707.2812. Donations also will be accepted.
