Engineering’s Burcu Gurkan pens “perspectives” article for The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters

Burcu Gurkan, assistant professor in the chemical and biomolecular engineering department, had a "perspectives" article, titled “Metal-Free Deep Eutectic Solvents: Preparation, Physical Properties, and Significance,” published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. This journal is published by the American Chemical Society and highlights new scientific advancement and research.

In her article, Gurkan discussed metal-free deep eutectic solvents. Perspectives articles generally are reserved for those who are considered to be leaders in their fields.
