Eric Baer, Distinguished University Professor and the Herbert Henry Dow Professor of Science and Engineering, was selected as the recipient of the James L. White Innovation Award of the Polymer Processing Society.
Baer was recognized at an award ceremony at the 32nd International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society in July in Lyon, France.
In conjunction with his award, Baer addressed the conference in a plenary session speaking on the topic, “New Polymeric Nanolayered Systems by Continuous Co-extrusion – Forced Assembly.”
This prestigious award is given to professionals in the field for their innovative development in polymer processing technologies with recent commercial impact. The award recognizes originality, innovation and creativity among researchers and inventors in the science and technology of processing polymers and polymeric products.
