This Fall 2026, RLGN/AFST 151: Introduction to Africana Religions will focus on the topic: The Black Church. Add this course to your Fall 2026 schedule to explore the history, traditions, theology, and cultural impact of the Black Church in America. In this course you will learn to understand the central role of the Black Church in spiritual life and community, examine historical roots, key figures, movements, and global influence, and connect faith, culture, justice, and identity in Africana diasporic religious traditions.
