Ethics Table to examine ethical questions raised by Steubenville case

13 Some Ground Rules For Discussing Ethics Morals1 231x300This week, the Ethics Table brown bag lunch series will discuss what some call a growing “culture of rape” in the wake of the Steubenville, Ohio, case. The Ethics Table will examine the idea of such a “culture” and the possible ethical responses. As this is a deeply sensitive issue, tact and sensitivity are required for this meeting. Additionally, interested attendees are encouraged to view The Invisible War—an award-winning documentary about rape in the military—that will screen Tuesday, March 26, in Strosacker Auditorium at 5 p.m. Further information can be found on the event’s website. The Ethics Table discussion will be held March 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees, especially students, are encouraged to come for all or part of the time. Attendees should bring their own lunches; coffee and cookies will be served. Further information can be found at case.edu/artsci/phil/ethicstable.html.
