The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and the Women's and Gender Studies program will host the Research and Relaxation Speaker Series on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Michelson and Morley at the Tinkham Veale University Center.
Justine Howe, assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies, will lead a discussion on how American Muslim book clubs are emerging as spaces of feminist interpretation and practice among educated, middle-class women.
This event is open to all, but space is limited. RSVP online to attend. Food and beverages will be provided.
