"Exposure therapy" can help perfectionists, says psychology's Amy Przeworski

Amy Przeworski, assistant professor of psychology, said environment and experiences can affect the role of genetics. She suggested adults and children who identify as perfectionists use exposure therapy, in which they make mistakes and don’t fix them. "People are not big fans of this at first," she said. "But they do learn that a small mistake doesn't make a whole project worthless."
