Faculty and staff are invited to participate in Green Dot overview sessions to learn more about how to be active bystanders.
Green Dot is a bystander intervention strategy to prevent power-based personal violence. It empowers participants to make observations, draw conclusions and take safe steps toward intervention in uncertain situations.
This semester overview sessions will be held:
- Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 3 p.m. in Thwing Center, Room 101
- Friday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248 (Flora Stone Mather Center for Women)
- Tuesday, March 7, at 11 a.m. in Tomlinson Hall, Room 135
- Friday, March 17, at noon in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248 (Flora Stone Mather Center for Women)
- Friday, April 7, at 3 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356
- Wednesday, April 26, at noon in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248 (Flora Stone Mather Center for Women)
- Thursday, May 4, at 10 a.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 115
