Fall Sustained Dialogue moderator training

Sustained Dialogue moderator training will be offered this fall. The training sessions will provide information about the program and tools for effectively facilitating critical conversations in the classroom, offices or departments. Attending one of two fall sessions is mandatory for anyone wishing to serve as a Sustained Dialogue moderator in fall 2018. The sessions will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, and Sunday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Thwing Center, Room 101. Individuals should only attend one session. The training is free and open to Case Western Reserve University staff, faculty and students. Lunch will be provided.

About the program

The Sustained Dialogue Program brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to discuss diversity and inclusion issues as well as campus issues of concern. Groups develop proposals on ways to improve the campus experience. At the conclusion of the program present their recommendations to university leadership. Sustained Dialogue is supported by the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and First Year Experience and Family Programs.
