The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will continue its Conversations in Philanthropy series Thursday, March 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 115.
The event, moderated by Robert Fischer, director of the Master of Nonprofit Organizations program, will address how philanthropic organizations work together to accomplish big-picture change, focusing on three area foundations as an example.
The following speakers will present:
- Deborah Vesy, president and CEO of Deaconess Community Foundation’s Human Services Restructuring Pilot;
- Brian Frederick, president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Lorain County and chair of the Fund for Our Economic Future; and
- India Pierce Lee (MSSA ’05), program director of The Cleveland Foundation-Greater University Circle Initiative.
