The Office of Residence Life, along with First Year Experience and Family Programs, Undergraduate Studies, and La Alianza, will hold the second annual First Year Festival and Winter Wonderland Jan. 17-20 to welcome first-year students back to campus.
The week will conclude with the Winter Wonderland event, which will be held Friday, Jan. 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Spot. The event will feature free food and games, plus more than $500 in prizes.
Events will be held for all four residential colleges leading up to the Winter Wonderland event. Students can win $50 gift cards at each residential college event.
Residential college events will be held:
- Juniper: Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Taplin House lobby
- Mistletoe: Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Norton House lobby
- Magnolia: Thursday, Jan. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leutner Commons Fireside Lounge
- Cedar: Friday, Jan. 20, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom
