Help [U]Tech improve digital accessibility

Please note: Items that appear in the Community Postings section are submitted by visitors. Posts are reviewed to ensure they are appropriate for our audience, but typically are not edited by University Marketing and Communications.

UTech has developed an AI application designed to convert handwritten and digital course materials into accessible Canvas pages. To ensure these materials work for everyone, we are seeking feedback from students, faculty, and staff who use assistive technology (such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or text-to-speech programs). For more information about this initiative, please check our short Usability Testing document, which includes further details.

How you can help:

  1. Fill out our brief Usability Testing Interest Form.
  2. Participate in a short, remote Zoom session to test a sample Canvas page.
  3. Share your experience to help us create more accessible digital materials.

Your time and insights are greatly appreciated as we work to enhance the digital experience at CWRU. As an appreciation of the time and investment in this initiative, each participant will receive a CWRU Digital Accessibility Advocate travel mug. For any questions, please reach out to TLTaccessibility@case.edu
