A piece of the ‘Arsenal of Democracy’ in Cleveland may be redeveloped
WKSU: John Grabowski, the Krieger-Mueller Joint Professor in History, discussed a Cleveland site that was once used to produce uranium hexafluoride as part of the World War II-era project to develop the atomic bomb. Today, the site is expected to be redeveloped, but the clean-up process has nearby residents wary.
