Joel Morales selected to represent CWRU at the inaugural Ohio-based Research Leadership Regional Community of Practice
Joel Morales, executive director for sponsored projects accounting in the Office of Research and Technology Management, was selected to represent Case Western Reserve University as a fellow at the inaugural Ohio-based Research Leadership Regional Community of Practice (RCOP).
This new initiative—administered through the National Science Foundation-funded Supporting and Harmonizing Research Endeavors (SHARE) program—brings together research administrators and emerging research leaders from institutions across Ohio to engage in mentorship, professional development, and peer collaboration aimed at strengthening research leadership and advancing research administration practices statewide.
As a fellow, Morales will participate in biweekly cohort meetings and an annual statewide conference where participants share experiences, explore challenges in research administration, and learn from peers serving in similar leadership roles at other universities.
This opportunity will also allow him to build meaningful connections across Ohio’s research community and bring back insights that will help strengthen research operations and enhance support for investigators at CWRU.
