Kappa Alpha Theta hosts fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates
Every child deserves a safe, loving environment to go home to. That mission is the driving force behind Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), whose volunteers advocate for children in the foster care system and are often the only adults with a consistent positive presence in their lives.
To support this cause, Kappa Alpha Theta at CWRU is running "Kicks for CASA" and proceeds are going to CASA of Cuyahoga County, the chapter that supports the Cleveland area. The money we raise right now will allow them to continue being a voice for the children who need it most.
The event will involve a soccer tournament, BBQ dinner, raffle (gifts cards from local businesses, including groceries!), and bake sale (baked fresh the day of the event). Anyone in the CWRU and Cleveland community is welcome!
