WEWS: Daniel Flannery, director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention, Research and Education, discussed the grim statistics of children and teenagers killed by gun violence. “I think we’re beyond a blip,” he said. “I think it’s a trend. I think what’s different today is this feeling that gun violence is just part of what I have to deal with every day.”
