School of Law professor Jonathan Adler had two articles published recently: “A Tale of Two Climate Cases” in the Yale Law Journal and “The Supreme Court Disposes of a Nuisance Suit: American Electric Power v. Connecticut, 2010-11” in the Cato Supreme Court Review 295. He also spoke at the Cato Institute’s Constitution Day symposium on the AEP case.
Additionally, he presented “Climate Change Goes Back to Court” at a conference for federal judges on “Terrorism, Climate, & Central Planning: Challenges to Liberty and the Rule of Law,” and he participated on a panel, “Supreme Court Forecast,” sponsored by the Center for Policy Studies Public Affairs Discussion Group at Case Western Reserve University in September.
