Jonathan H. Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director of the Center for Business Law and Regulation, was appointed to a judicial advisory commission. As a member of the bipartisan group of legal experts, Adler will assist Ohio senators Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown in filling a vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, which serves Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton among other areas.
