Trial to begin Over Arkema Chemical plant fire during Harvey
Associated Press: Jonathan H. Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, commented on a trial set to begin about flooding in 2017 that overwhelmed power systems at a plant outside Houston that ignited chemicals, caught fire then exploded. The company, Arkema, claims the incident was an act of God, while prosecutors in the case claim the company should be held criminally liable.
