Impeachment trial may hinge on meaning of ‘incitement’

The New York Times: Ahead of the Senate’s acquittal of President Donald Trump in the second impeachment trial, Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, said that while the Supreme Court has placed strict First Amendment limits on incitement charges in court, it may not apply in impeachment trials.
