Obamacare critics lose in ruling that supports Affordable Care Act tax subsidies
The Plain Dealer: Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, weighed in on federal judges Affordable Care Act ruling that residents of all states can receive tax subsidies to purchase health insurance. Based on the way the law was written, Adler said, the Internal Revenue Service had no authority to give tax subsidies to people enrolling in the federal exchange.
