Why are Ohio’s gun shops still open? State says it’s a nod to constitutional rights

Cleveland.com: Jonathan L. Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law and adjunct professor of political science in the College of Arts and Sciences, weighed in on why gun stores —and some churches—remain open during statewide orders to close businesses. ”(State authorities) don’t want to start a controversy on whether they’ve overstepped their authority,” Entin said. “This order doesn’t work unless people voluntarily comply.”
